The reefs and waters around Caño Island are famous for diving and snorkeling as one of the best in Costa Rica.

On this snorkeling or diving adventure you are likely to see schools of colorful fish, rays, sharks, moray, eels, see turtles and much more.

This wonderful experience begins with a 45-minute boat ride to Caño Island and you also have the chance to see whales (during whale season) and dolphins on the way.

Once there, diving or snorkeling are made in different spots, you must jump out of the boat. Each immersion is about 45 minutes. You can also have time to take a break on the beach where toilets are available. There is also a beautiful look out point.

After the 2 diving or snorkeling times you will go to San Josecito beach, a nice white sand beach where you will have a delicious picnic lunch. Here you can swim in the clear waters or just chill on the beach.
